The Challenge

Vidos needed marketing that could do something difficult: explain highly technical decentralised identity concepts to enterprise buyers, build credibility in a market that is sceptical of Web3 hype, and position the company as a trusted partner for regulated industries.

As Head of Marketing, I led positioning initiatives built around three core pillars:

Brand Development: Developed brand messaging emphasising user-controlled digital identities and the practical, compliance-ready benefits of Vidos's approach. The brand needed to feel secure and enterprise-appropriate while signalling technological leadership.

Educational Content Marketing: Created content that translated complex standards — DIDs, VCs, DID DHT methods — into accessible language for enterprise decision-makers. This included technical blog posts, use case explainers, and thought leadership positioning Vidos at the forefront of the decentralised identity movement.

Strategic Partnership Collaborations: Identified and developed partnerships that expanded ecosystem integration and utility. The integration with Ping Identity's PingOne DaVinci was a landmark achievement, creating a credible bridge between decentralised identity and established enterprise identity infrastructure.

The Results

The strategic integration with Ping Identity's PingOne DaVinci simplified decentralised identity adoption for enterprise customers — a meaningful product and market validation. Vidos gained industry recognition as a solution leader in decentralised identity, with expanded product offerings including DID DHT method support for blockchain-free identity management.

The company established what is recognised as the global fastest and most robust DID Resolution service, and the widest range of compatible VCs and DIDs globally — technical credentials that marketing helped communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
