As 2024 comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what has been an incredible year for Marketing with Tom. This year was defined by transformation, learning, and the exciting challenge of pivoting towards a broader vision for the future. Here are some highlights from this year and a sneak peek into what we have planned for 2025.
The biggest shift this year was the transition from ExpensiveJPEG, our Web3-focused marketing agency, to Marketing with Tom, a wider-reaching digital marketing agency. This pivot wasn’t just about a name change; it was about a fundamental shift in how we approach our mission.
At Marketing with Tom, we’re committed to helping startups and properly educating the next generation of marketers. Our vision is twofold:
To support this pivot, we went through a total rebrand. From the launch of the new Marketing with Tom website to our revamped blog and expansive tool library, everything has been designed with you in mind. If you haven’t yet, I encourage you to explore the new platform and see what’s possible. This rebrand wasn’t just about aesthetics; it’s a reflection of the new mindset and mission we’ve embraced.
In March 2024, we sent out our first-ever newsletter to a grand total of three subscribers (five if you include my mum and me!). Fast forward to today, and we’re closing the year with nearly 1,000 subscribers, 84 of whom joined in the last 30 days alone. This growth has been incredible and humbling, and it’s only the beginning.
But the newsletter is just one part of our growing community. In 2025, we’ll be expanding our offerings to include exclusive discounts, webinars, and even in-person meetups. Whether you’re a startup founder, a marketer, or just someone curious about the intersection of marketing and technology, we’d love to have you join us.
This year has been a masterclass in adaptability.
